  1. So many things to praise the Lord for and how important it is not to forget His benefits. We should even praise Him from the inmost part of ourselves and not just our words and voices because He has been so good to us. Where would we be without His love, care and forgiveness that is expressed in this Psalm. And we praise Him not only because of all the things He does for us, but also because He rules over us as well. And we are not the only ones who should and do praise Him. His angels in heaven and all creation do too.

  2. What great words of comfort. For as high as the heavens are above the Earth, so great is his love for those who fear him. as far as the east is from the west so far has he removed our transgressions from us. What an awesome loving God we serve. Praise the Lord, all his heavenly host and your servants who do his will. Praise the Lord. Oh my soul.

  3. When we praise God, let us remember all the blessings he gives us. As far as the east is from the west, he forgives all our sins. So he doesn’t want us to dwell upon them, wallowing in the pit of regret and shame. That only holds us back from living the life the Lord purposed us to live. He is the one who heals so we can reach out to him when we are sick, and he will help us. He lavishes his love upon us with compassion and grace, and he gives us good things. So we can have no fear because our Father sits on his throne in heaven and he rules over all his kingdom in heaven and on earth.

  4. All the reasons to praise God. David knew them, he lived them. He saw God’s righteousness, blessings, redemption, grace, His forgiveness, and His care! We know that God is ever present and always working even when we don’t see or feel it because our thoughts are not like His and our attention is so easily distracted by other things. He always has a plan and works ALL things out for good for those who love Him, our job is to believe that, love, obey, and praise Him for it!
