  1. Job continues in his much deserved lament about the situation he is in. He is surrounded by despair and mockers. It appears God and people are against him. And yet God remains the reference point and whatever light or hope there is to allude to, Job tries to find it. Even if the hope is the grave, he is trusting God ultimately for what end awaits him and what will come of his life.

  2. You have to appreciate that even in his darkest laments you find these glimmer of steadfast faith… “Nevertheless, the righteous will hold to their ways,
and those with clean hands will grow stronger.
Such power hope, the hope that comes from God can help us weather any storm and certainly Job is a great example of that.

  3. “My days have passed, my plans are shattered. Yet the desires of my heart turn night into day; in the face of the darkness light is near. If the only home I hope for is the grave,” Hope is the one thing we can always hold on to when all seems lost in our lives. Jesus Christ is our hope. “Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.” 1 Peter 1:21
