Back: Proverbs 17
11 The Lord knows all human plans;
he knows that they are futile.
This verse stuck out to me today as a very Type A personality, often I think I am “helping” God when I don’t go to Him first with an issue. I get into control mode and decide I got this one for Him so He doesn’t have to worry about it and how silly that feels after reading this verse. How He must look at me and shake his head once again and think how foolish I am to think He needs me to take something off His plate. In reality its just another place that I need to fully surrender to His will, His plan, and His purpose for my life,
Unless the Lord had given me help, I would soon have dwelt the silence of death , When anxiety was great within me, your Consolation brought me joy.
