Back: 2 Chronicles 21
Well when things seems as bleak as it can get with an evil king being directed by an evil mother and then in his death she takes over with a mission to wipe out the line of David. In comes Jehoshabeath, a little-known woman with an important place in God’s plan. Through her courage and ingenuity, she preserved the line of David by hiding this child. We see evil people like Athaliah will begin their work, but God can use the most unlikely, like Jehoshabeath, to complete His work regardless.
