2 John
Many of the same truths shared in 1 John are expressed here. We as believers certainly have a connection based in the fact that we have and know the truth. But we also have a connection based in the love God sheds abroad in our hearts that Jesus Himself commanded us to share with each other. All that we would seek to be is based in who Jesus is and what He accomplished for us. For those who deny the humanity and deity of Christ, they are the antichrist and need not be listened to nor fellowshipped with. We must hold firm to the truth as the world becomes more deceived by false doctrine about many things….and better to do that together than alone!
