  1. During times of strife where his enemies were attacking him; David looked to the Lord. He said that how could he fear man when God was on his side. Psalm 27: 1,2,3,5. For God would be with him even when his parents forsake him. Psalm 27:10. He was confident in his position with the Lord that the Lord would be his light and salvation. vs 1. His desire was to worship the Lord in his holy temple all of his days and to behold His glory. Psalm 27: 4,5. He encouraged others to wait on the Lord. Psalm 27: 14. In Psalm 28: 7 he states that God is his strength and shield and that he trusts in Him. In Psalm 29 he gives glory to God for He is holy; the voice of the Lord thunders; He is powerful; breaks the cedars of Lebanon; His voice divideth the flames of fire; His voice shaketh the wilderness; He makes the hinds to calf; and He giveth strength to His people. God is the God of all creation as he seems to be saying here. May the Lord bless you.

  2. How amazing that God is with us and always hears us and is willing to help. He is a stronghold for our lives and so the best thing we can seek is to be in His presence. When we do we find a God Who is able to help us in every circumstance and even deal with those who come against us. How comforting to know that He will never leave us or forsake us! He hears our cries and provides His mercy and strength to us. And He is the almighty, powerful God of creation to Whom all glory is due Him. He is above all! What a privilege to be in His family.

    That I would see the goodness of the LORD
    In the land of the living.
    14 Wait on the LORD;
    Be of good courage,
    And He shall strengthen your heart;
    Wait, I say, on the LORD!

  4. Psalm 27-29 verse 14 Wait for the Lord be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
    28:6&7 praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trust in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
    Prayer is so important in our daily lives.
    29 – the power of the Lord!

  5. When the odds are stacked against us, our God is with us. He will will see to it that everything works out for our good. We can rest assured that this is indeed the case when our enemies are advancing against us.
