  1. These 3 psalms remind me very much about how Joseph lived his life. Waking up each day in dependence on God. Rewarded for his faithfulness and trust in the Lord.
It also made me think about the power of God and how we should serve in the fear of the Lord. Not a fear about His wrath, even though that is a reality, but a reverent fear knowing He controls all things! He protects us, loves, us, and provides as a great father would and it is that parental respectful fear He more than deserves!

  2. Psalms 1:2-3
Juhyoun’s delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth Juhyoun meditate day and night

And Juhyoun shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; Juhyoun’s leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever Juhyoun doeth shall prosper.

  3. There are a couple of themes that run through these Psalms. One is certainly the authority and power of God to control things and protect us regardless of the pride of man or the schemes they plot against us. The other is the incredible value that comes from following and trusting God. We will find peace and protection and the plan of God unfolding, especially God’s plan to bring His Messiah. Therefore we are wise to turn away from the way of the wicked and pursue the word and the ways of God. Through those we will find stability and blessing as well as success in the things we endeavor to do for God!

  4. 1Blessed is the one
who does not walk in step with the wicked
or stand in the way that sinners take
or sit in the company of mockers,
2but whose delight is in the law of the Lord,
and who meditates on his law day and night.

  5. 1Why do the nations conspire
and the peoples plot in vain?
2The kings of the earth rise up
    and the rulers band together
against the Lord and against his anointed, saying,
    3“Let us break their chains
    and throw off their shackles.”
    4The One enthroned in heaven laughs;
    the Lord scoffs at them.
5He rebukes them in his anger
and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
    6“I have installed my king
    on Zion, my holy mountain.”
