  1. Oh Yes Let Us Praise the Lord, Even in the desert, if we praise Him our hearts won’t harden, We can always find something to Praise Him Let everything that has breath praise the Lord

  2. 1 Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
    let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
    2 Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
    let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!

    Worship in voice and music; do not be silent.

  3. Psalm 95:10-11 (ESV)
    10  For forty years I loathed that generation and said, “They are a people who go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways.” 11  Therefore I swore in my wrath, “They shall not enter my rest.”

    Going astray begins in the heart and manifests itself in action. The consequence of which is the absence of rest. Man hardens his heart to his own peril.

  4. What a great balance in this Psalm of the great God that God is and how absolutely fitting it is to exuberantly praise Him and yet if we don’t follow Him, we will not receive from Him the benefits He brings. His greatness is manifest all around us in creation! The only right response is to come before Him and bow, to kneel before Him and worship. What danger there is to harden our hearts to Him, to allow sin to convince us that our way is better. The hardening influences are inside us and outside us. We must overcome them by the knowledge of God and the truth of who He is. Praise is a good way to reenforce that truth and lift our hearts in the truth and value of all that God is!

  5. 6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down;
    let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!
    7 For he is our God,
    and we are the people of his pasture,
    and the sheep of his hand.
