  1. What a great Psalm expressing the protection that our God in heaven provides for His people. Every verse is touching but it is a privilege to know a God that we can look to and know that our help comes from Him. How comforting to know that He does not sleep and is always aware of what is going on in our lives. The extent to which God will keep us from all harm should give us a moment of pause. That is certainly true in the sense that God works all things together for the good for those who love him, but it can’t mean that those same people have no problems or are not subject to the dangers of the world. Certainly God is able to do that and has a character that is willing to do such things but whether or not He will or does is dependent on His plan for us and for others as well. So the promises here are true but have to be seen from the vantage point of all of Scripture as well.

  2. This Psalm was so comforting to my soul. To know that we can count on God and he watches over us in every moment makes me feel so safe and loved by him.

    1. HI Lajanae!
      Nice to hear from you!
      Amen – He has promised never to leave us or forsake us – we can count on it !!

  3. AMEN
    2 My help comes from the Lord,
    who made heaven and earth.
    3He will not let your foot be moved;
    he who keeps you will not slumber.
    4Behold, he who keeps Israel
    will neither slumber nor sleep.
    5The Lord is your keeper;
    the Lord is your shade on your right hand.
    6 The sun shall not strike you by day,
    nor the moon by night.
    7The Lord will keep you from all evil;
    he will keep your life.
    8The Lord will keep
    your going out and your coming in
    from this time forth and forevermore.
