  1. We must walk in the ways of the Lord and follow the paths God has set for us and when we don’t we end up on destructive paths that lead to wicked ways.

  2. How important knowledge and wisdom is for life. God has orchestrated our lives that every action would be proceeded by a process of thinking and decision making with a choice between right and wrong. We would have to choose between thinking of ourselves and thinking of others, how we would spend our time and resources, whether we would do things our way or God’s way, what would motivate us and what we would pursue. And with that being the case, how important it would be that we would be informed and guided by God. He created us with a blank slate so that we could decide what would fill it. He would provide knowledge and wisdom, but would we seek it and adhere to it?

    Well wisdom is calling. God is crying out for us to seek His ways. And how different our lives will be if we do or if we don’t. His wisdom will protect us and guide us and will bless us both in us living in a way consistent with how we have been created and in the ways God will bless us for following His ways. So the choice is ours. Pursue the wisdom of God and us and others being benefited by it. Or reject it and us and others reaping the negative consequences.

  3. “For the Lord gives wisdom;
    From His mouth come knowledge and understanding;
    He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
    He is a shield to those who walk uprightly;
    He guards the paths of justice,
    And preserves the way of His saints.
    Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
    Equity and every good path.”

    God gives us wisdom to guard and preserve us.
    We must engage with wisdom: receive….treasure…..incline your ear…..apply your heart……cry out…..lift up your voice……seek…..search.
    Then we will: understand the fear of the Lord……find the knowledge of God…. be given wisdom…….be shielded….guarded……preserved……understand righteousness and justice,
    Equity and every good path.
    When wisdom enters our heart and knowledge pleasant to our soul: discretion will preserve us…..understanding will keep us……deliver us from the way of evil…….

  4. My son, if you accept my words
    and store up my commands within you,
    2turning your ear to wisdom
    and applying your heart to understanding—
    3indeed, if you call out for insight
    and cry aloud for understanding,
    4and if you look for it as for silver
    and search for it as for hidden treasure,
    5then you will understand the fear of the Lord
    and find the knowledge of God.
    6For the Lordgives wisdom;
    from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
