  1. First let me say how much I love Proverbs! Like basic instructions for life and if we just follow them how wonderful life could be.
Our tongues cause us such trouble and yet we open our mouths so quickly and without thought! The power our words have to hurt or heal someone is amazing and when we stop and take the time to think before we speak and seek God in our reactions can make an amazing difference in our relationships.
God help me to be more thoughtful in my words!

  2. Such practical wisdom is found in the Proverbs. A few that jumped out at me: The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to it and are safe. Before his downfall, a man’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. He who answers before listening, that is his folly and his shame. The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.
