The ways of righteousness and wickedness are compared here and the strong conclusion is the former is better than the latter. The righteous bring benefit to themselves and to others. They are stable in their ways and benefit others with their words. The Lord blesses them and that makes all the difference. Whereas the wicked are consumed by their wickedness and bring destruction on themselves and no benefit to others. Their ways will come to an end but the way of the righteous will continue to bear good fruit. May we all see the benefit of righteousness laid out here and recognize, in many ways, it is it’s own reward….
