  1. Always amazed that so many years ago the Bible spoke of mold. I remember 30 years ago my insurance company telling me they were studying the effect of mold on health.

  2. The priest is like a doctor. He must examine spots on the body and see if they are just skin deep or an active infection. He instructs to isolate or rejoin the community.
    He must also examine garments for probably mold or mildew, to determine if it is spreading and either wash, cut out or burn it depending.

  3. How much sense it makes for God to make sure the Israelites are concerned about public health. It shows His care for them, His awareness of the human body, and the responsibility we have to each other. It is interesting that the priests are given the role of examiner. So along with their role before God for the people, they would become experienced in such things. As I read, I also couldn’t help but think about what a dermatologist would think about this chapter. Molly works for one, so I think I will ask….
