  1. Job defends his integrity and is certainly frustrated with his friends. He calls for God’s judgement on them for being hypocrites as I am sure he feels like they should take their own advice when it comes to pride. They are dishing out a great deal of judgement without considering God, without praying for Job and his situation. Reminds us to handle each other with care and go to God first before we jump to our own flawed opinions and perspectives.

  2. Job still recognizes who God is and that it is He that he must answer to, but he maintains his innocence in the presence of all the accusations that his friends have made. He then describes the state of the wicked and how they may gain some things, but in the end all they have will be taken away, either by God’s hand or just the nature of what comes from being evil. It is interesting to consider why Job mentions this. He may be showing his agreement with his friends about their evaluation of the wicked and thereby distancing himself from their accusations, or doing so to shown that these things have ‘t happened to him regularly. And thereby defending his innocence in his description.

  3. He will not give in to the condemnation that causes guilt, despair and hoplelessness. He will not cut the cord to his connection to the Lord; he is determined to hold fast to it and maintain his integrity. His determination to do this is steady and resolute.

  4. I love Job‘s reply to his so-called friends they believe they have all this knowledge, but it is full of criticism and blame instead of compassion, which would produce much more greater results. I love Job 27:6. Job says his conscience is clear, for he believes he has lived rightly before God.

  5. Job 27
Job tells of the sad results for the life of a wicked man. Job remains faithful to God, no matter what fate befalls him.
