  1. Job 25:4 (ESV)
     How then can man be in the right before God? How can he who is born of woman be pure?

    As we have seen in all of the past interchanges between Job and his friends, Bildad makes some correct statements about the nature of God and man, but his application to Job is still incorrect.
    Bildad argues that no one is righteous before God. As we know this is a true statement because we know that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory and that there is none righteous, no not one.

  2. Amen!

    2 “Dominion and fear are with God;
    he makes peace in his high heaven.
    3 Is there any number to his armies?
    Upon whom does his light not arise?
    4 How then can man be in the right before God?
    How can he who is born of woman be pure?

  3. Ditto on what Dan said…as well, I wonder if Bildad would put himself under the umbrella he pictures for man? I am sure he would but then why is Job judged in the way he is and not him…..ah it must be because Job’s sin is greater……that is certainly how he is seeing the situation…..but we all know it is presumptuous for him to conclude that.
