  1. Definition of the contrast between God and man:
God = righteousness, perfection & greatness
Man = mortal impurity & unworthiness

  2. God is the utmost and there is a great gap between who He is and who we are. There is no way any human being could be perfect in His sight. And yet by His amazing grace He has identified us with His righteousness in the great exchange that happened at the cross. 2 Corinthians 5:21.

  3. How then can a mortal be righteous before God? How can one born of woman be pure? Answer: By having faith in Jesus Christ who died to save us and rose from the dead to give us everlasting life.

  4. There is one thing Job and his friends do agree on and that is the greatness of God! We are truly humbled by His strength and His power far exceeds our understanding.

  5. “How then can man be righteous before God? Or how can he be pure who is born of a woman?”
    ‭‭Job‬ ‭25‬:‭4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
This reminds me of Romans, Paul’s whole point, neither Jew nor Gentile can stand before God justified, all need Christ.
