Hosea’s Reconciliation With His Wife

  1. Hosea’s life will now be an expression of God’s desire to eventually restore His people, expressing His unconditional love for them. How hard it would be for any person to walk in Hosea’s shoes and yet what a beautiful picture it provides of God’s reaction to our unfaithfulness, never condoning it, always acting against it and yet always willing to restore…..

  2. God’s ability to forgive is amazing! He is able to forgive us when we constantly mess up and how hard it is for our human ways to forgive someone who has hurt us. Hosea’s life is a literal object lesson of this.

  3. “Go and love a woman”
    I was thinking that we can learn the definitions of “love” and “faithfulness” through the book of Hosea. Love is a decision, not an emotion. Faithfulness is remaining true to one’s commitment.
