  1. As I read about the priests room i think how blessed we are to be able to just come into God’s presence anytime. There is no need for someone to go to Him on our behalf. The work Christ did on the cross eliminated so many of the sacrifices and rituals necessary to speak to God but we can never take that for granted. Having 24/7 access to God should not make us too comfortable with His sovereignty, His awesome power. We should never forget who we are speaking to!

  2. How deliberate the priests needed to be in their function and make sure they made a distinction between what was common and what was holy. They were certainly taken care of as a portion of people’s sacrifices would go to them, but how challenging the role to keep everything straight in carrying out God’s commands. It should make us all grateful for the cross and the atonement that came through Jesus once and for all as opposed to the repeated sacrifices necessary to make the people clean before Him.

  3. The man tells Ezekiel that the rooms where the priests present the offerings is a holy place. They must take off their garments before they go to the places where the people reside. Their clothing must stay in the place that is holy.
