  1. I love that upon completion of everything God asked of them God shows up in a literal way and stays with them as the cloud and fire. Exodus finishes with the obedience of God’s people and Gods grace, mercy, and love shown!

  2. How awesome it must have been to see all of this finally set up and put into use. How humbling, sobering and joyous it must have been to put the sacred elements in place, for Aaron and his sons to be cleansed and to put on their garments and for Moses to anoint it all to make it holy. What a glorious and reassuring thing to have God’s presence fill the tabernacle and for Him to reside there and make it clear when they should stay in a place and when they should go. And wherever they went, they would break it all down, carrying it and set it all up. How significant to have that expression of connection with God with them all the time during all their travels. And yet how much more wonderful is God’s Spirit dwelling within us doing the same things and more!!!!!

  3. If only any of us could have been in the passing by to witness God revealing his glory, the fire in the cloud at night! As someone that’s been a believer for a long time but now a new Christian, this is really humbling. God has blessed me in ways I’ve never really seen physically with my eyes, but I guess just from what manifested by having faith and doing the best thing in communicating to God through prayer. Such an epic way to finish the book of Exodus!

  4. Everything is set up just as God instructed and the Lord fills the tabernacle. God is present with them day and night by cloud and fire. He instructs them in their comings and goings.

  5. And so Moses finished the work.
    The Glory of the Lord
34Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. 35Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
36In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; 37but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted. 38So the cloud of the Lord was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.
