  1. Must have been so reassuring to Moses to see this work done and done well. To see the generosity of the people especially after him needing to intercede on their behalf before God for their previous disobedience.
The Israelites certainly showed a change in heart and mind going from making a golden calf idol as a result of their impatience to so generously giving and obeying every direction in the assembly of the ark, the tabernacle, and all the other things associated with it.
Give us confidence that we can always turn back to God no matter what mistakes we have made because He is loving, king, and merciful!

  2. Remarkable how the Israelites turned around to exactly follow the Lord’s orders for the Ark and all the associated articles.

  3. How pleased Moses must have been to see the work done right and so well. He had to deal with alot from the people of Israel, but I am sure that this was one of the high points, especially considering what the tabernacle represented and what it would be used for. May we also do the things pleasing to God to warrant His blessing as opposed to His discipline.

    1. What I find impressive is the craftsmanship being described in this passage. Especially back in that time period, the time put into all the work of the tabernacle. Beautiful!

  4. They did it!

I was thinking as I was reading all about artwork, craftsmanship, weaving, garments, colors, etc and how much work was involved! and then I was thinking how it is much easier to be obedient when we are focused on the tasks that God has set before us. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.” It’s what we were created for.

“According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work. 43 Then Moses looked over all the work, and indeed they had done it; as the Lord had commanded, just so they had done it. And Moses blessed them.”

  5. 42The Israelites had done all the work just as the Lordhad commanded Moses. 43Moses inspected the work and saw that they had done it just as the Lordhad commanded. So Moses blessed them.
