  1. Good morning Pastor and LHCC, I stand in agreement with Kelly on Exodus 37. On an independent study perspective, I like to share some quick thoughts on my continuation in Acts 12. Herod persecutes members of the Church having James put to death and Peter arrested to be put on trial, until an Angel was sent by God to set him free and escape with ease! Within that brief summation a couple verses really stood out to me.

“So Peter was kept in jail, but the people of the church were praying earnestly to God for him.”
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭12:5‬ ‭GNB‬‬

“Then Peter realized what had happened to him, and said, “Now I know that it is really true! The Lord sent his angel to rescue me from Herod’s power and from everything the Jewish people expected to happen.””
    ‭‭Acts‬ ‭12:11‬ ‭GNB‬‬

Bridging these two verses together really displays to me personally a thread of how powerful prayer is, and certainly how powerful our God can be to those faithfully willing and obedient. Enjoy the day everyone and thanks for your time to view this.

  2. The sacred elements of the Holy place and most Holy Place are mentioned in this chapter. Skill was promised to make them and it was executed according to God’s directions, I do wonder what it was like constructing these things, recognizing what they would be used for. The ark would be approached just once a year by one person and then carried before the people as they traveled. How awesome and humbling to be a part of its construction!
