  1. I had to look up the conversions of how much gold, silver, and bronze was used especially after the giving of the people was so generous. I read it was over a ton of gold, over 4 tons of silver, and over 2 tons of bronze at an approximate value of over one million today’s dollars! Incredible what it must have looked like!

  2. Good evening Pastor Dad and LHCC. I’m very much enjoying jumping in reading along in the book of Exodus thus far with the construction of the Tabernacle and reading about Gods amazing task he ordered Moses.
I’ve been deep within reading the book of Acts. This evening I’d like to switch it up and share with everyone one of my favorite quotes in scripture from John 18:37.

“So Pilate asked him, “Are you a king, then?” Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. I was born and came into the world for this one purpose, to speak about the truth. Whoever belongs to the truth listens to me.””

Upon Jesus stating this, Pilate follows up to asks Jesus what is truth? Jesus remained silent, for unbeknown to Pilate he was looking and talking to the truth! My Bible reading began within the Gospel of John, about a little over a year ago. Upon hitting that verse I felt such power and desire to seek more about the teachings of Jesus and the word of God. To this day it remains within me very very inspiring. Enjoy the evening and the rest of the weekend to anyone who took the time to read my thoughts. God bless LHCC.

  3. It is interesting that the materials used is expressed in how much was given as opposed to how much was used. It was certainly the right amount, or if anything more than enough. But it was determined that it would be recorded recognizing what the people gave. And how generous they were and how beautiful it must have been when it was all put together….
