Daniel 12 (NIV)

The End Times
1“At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people—everyone whose name is found written in the book—will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt..........Continue Reading

  1. Chapter 10. How could Daniel withstand all these visions. Now he sees a battle between good and evil. Always bothered me that Michael was battling for 3 weeks. Many more angels could have come to his aid. There’s a battle going on above us that we really don’t know too much about. All things are recorded in the book of truth. Persia and Greece against the power of God’s people. God is in control of all things past present and future. Nothing to fear

  2. Chapter 11. Take about a day to figure out who all these kingdoms and kings are. It’s hard to read the punishment Gods people will suffer over the years. Can’t wait to hopefully we get to see Satan thrown into the lake of fire

  3. Michael [ the Arch angel ] will arise and help the Jewish people and fight against Satan. At the times of the end this will be the hardest time of trouble the Jewish people have ever had through out their history. But the good news is that any that are found with names written in the book of life will have life everlasting. Those that are already dead shall awake, some to everlasting life and the rest to everlasting contempt. [ Hell ]. It also says that those that walk with God are wise and shall shine as the brightness of the firmament. Those that lead others to the Lord [ Only righteous in Christ ] will be as the stars for ever and ever. This does not mean that they will have star power and to be worshipped for only God can be worshipped. But rather they will reflect Christ. Latter Daniel saw a man clothed in linen. [ Jesus ]. He gave a time frame of three and a half years. The people 0f God would seem to be destroyed but then God steps in. The great tribulation is seven years and it would seem that this is in the middle of the tribulation for Jesus comes at the end. The scripture says that the daily sacrifice will be taken away and replaced with the abomination that maketh desolate set up. [ Some kind of a image of a statue. ] This brings God`s wrath. It will be three and a half years after this image is set up. Don`t mess with God for He always wins. Whether we understand any of it we know who holds the future.

  4. It is always uncomfortable to read about end times and the possible mess we may even face in our own days here on earth but there is such comfort in knowing that God always restores His people. When you look at the Jews and how even though they have gone through so many times of despair right to the most current holocaust God was in control. We don’t always understand, even Daniel didn’t as he expressed in these last few chapters, but we must trust regardless because we do know that He knows and He cares for His people.

  5. Those that run around to and fro seeking knowledge will do so in vain, but those who are wise will know that wisdom is found in God’s word and they will understand what is going on in the end times. And they will shine like the brightness of the day and like the stars at night forever and ever. Amen, Come Lord Jesus!

  6. We certainly know who wins in the end and it is clear He will reward those who know and follow Him and occupy themselves with the things He values. Here wisdom and leading people to righteousness are lauded. It is also good to know that God protects His people and has varied means to do that. He also wants His people t have the right information at the right time. The revelation is to be sealed until the end when it will be most needed…and I would say to most understood. And to know that many will be purified as well as the wicked remaining wicked is very important. But God still remains in control..even until the end. It is interesting to see different time frames that are given here are reflected in the book of revelation (the time, times and a half a time (3 1/2 years) and 1290 days). It is another affirmation of this chapter speaking about the end times, not just some end times….

  7. He replied, “Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many will be purified, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
