Another miracle. 10 lepers healed If a leper thought he was cured he had to show himself to the priest in order to re-enter into society. So 10 lepers show up at once. Jesus healed us to the priests. Always remember 10 lepers healed. One returns with thanks. Jesus upset. Where’s the other 9. So important to thank for answered prayer. Love the story of the widow who would not give up asking the king for help. Keep coming. Keep coming before our God with prayer. Believing he will answer. Living by faith.

Advent Day 31
How important it is for us to be grateful for what God has done for us and praise Him for His goodness and power. And how selfish is the human heart that would receive such a life altering thing and not come back and thank and praise!!! And the state of our hearts and faith will determine how welcome Jesus’ return will be. How great it will be when that day comes, but it will come when no one expects it and life is just going along like it has. SO we need to make sure we are ready and encourage others to be so rather than waiting for some radical change that will indicate His return will be here. And if that is where we are heading, where only God’s will matters, we should be losing our lives to Him rather than holding on to this life or the things of it too tightly. And when we are coming to God to ask for His intervention in our lives we should persist in our praying. It is interesting that Jesus uses the example of an evil ruler to express His principle when God is anything but that. But if even an evil authority would act in that way, how much more so will our great and powerful God. And lastly, we should never take divorce lightly. but treat it with the honor and regard that God intended for it. Both husbands and wives should be functioning in all that God would enable and expect, empowered by Him in how to operate in our marriages. Marriage is a sad state of affairs in our world (pun intended), may the church be a light of what marriage can be and is supposed to be based in all that God provides in it and for it!
