Remembering God’s provision is so important to keeping us faithful, not just in chapters like this when we see all He has done over time and from generation to generation but in our own lives as well. When we look at our lives it is easy to see His fingerprints everywhere! Even in my darkest hours I always have reasons to be grateful, times past where He clearly got me through other dark hours. He is a faithful God and worthy to be praised!
Psalms 105
God has shown Himself powerful and faithful in all generations, especially to the Jews. He worked through and for many to reveal Himself and show the kind of God He is. And no better than what He did in the plagues of Egypt and the way He provided for the Jews in their travels. Great is His name and worthy of praise. May we always seek His face!
What amazing examples of how God works everything for our good, in every situation.
Psalm 105
Because of what he did, we ought to give thanks to the LORD, keep his statutes and observe his laws.
Dear LORD, please help us to give thanks to you, keep your statutes and observe your laws.
Amen!
Psalm 105
If God seems far away. Or you find yourself doubting remember all that he has done in our lives in the past years of our lives.
The Lord remembers the holy promise he gave to Abraham. And he will always keep it – present, past and future. We can believe his word to be truth because we see how it has held up over the test of time, both in the Bible and in our lives as well.
