Back: Psalms 97-98

The Lord is above all and many have found Him true and followed Him recognizing the truth and value in doing so. He both blesses obedience and curses disobedience, which is consistent with His character and what is good for us. It is right for us to sing joyfully and thank Him for all He is, all He has done, is doing and will do. Our lives should be changed by our knowledge of Him. Even when we are in bad times and feel like people, circumstances or God are pressing in around us, there is still reason to praise Him and be lifted up by our knowledge of Him and His care and provision for us.

Psalm 12, 97-102; Ester 6
I praise God this morning for all He has done and continues to do in my life. Even in the darkest hours He makes His presence knownn. I am grateful for His correction to keep us in His will for our lives and put us back on track. I am thankful that He listens when we cry out and shows mercy and grace when those cries are angry or frustrated and still He comes alongside and brings us peace.

Psalm 99-102
We can always find a reason to sing wholeheartedly to the Lord with thanksgiving and joy. For it is he who made us, and we are his, we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. And the Lord is good, his love endures forever and his faithfulness will continue through all generations.
