Just one more chapter of genealogies will be give in Chronicles. They were very important to the Jews, but not so important to us. Here the line of Benjamin is given along with the forbears of Saul and those who followed him. As the first king of Israel, information about him is even more significant.

The completion of the geneaologies, I have learned to appreciate the meaning behind these types of chapters and how if this was my own family line or a current family line of today I would certainly find it more interesting but harder to take away all that much from reading them other than if it was important enough for God to have it here it is important to us a swell.
