We see Saul in here, but nothing special is mentioned about him.
Interesting how lives are described so briefly
This genealogy seems more jumpy than the others. I had a hard time figuring out who descended from who.
It mentions people who are deported and divorced, others drove out the inhabitants of Gath, and others who were brave warriors who could handle a bow.
33Ner was the father of Kish, Kish of Saul, Saul of Jonathan, Malchi-shua, Abinadab and Eshbaal;
Saul is the example of a life of what could have been and should have been if he only followed God. An we see also how his family was affected by that as well. But as the first king of Israel, you get your family tree in Chronicles.
