Song of Solomon 3 (NIV)

1 All night long on my bed
I looked for the one my heart loves;
I looked for him but did not find him.

  1. “Go forth, O daughters of Zion,
    And see King Solomon with the crown
    With which his mother crowned him
    On the day of his wedding,
    The day of the gladness of his heart.”

  2. Certainly the image of finding your love is a sweet one. Made me stop and say a prayer for my children that they will find the one for them that God has planned and that they will hear His voice to know who that person is.

  3. I’m a grown man but I I’ll get feelings of insecurity, thats when I have to pause whatever I’m doing, and remember, no matter how small it appears to me, to think of how I and my family have been blessed abundantly with the fruits of the spirit, then I’ll get the feeling, similar to my mom or dad giving me a big hug and saying, “it will be ok, we are here for you”, saying that to me while Hugging me, gave me a sense of security which lead to my peaceful heart and comfort, so when I’m feeling insecure, I pause, thank God for our blessing, for bringing me to my knees causing me to surrender all, thanking him for revealing Himself to me and why do i deserve such love from Him, humility strikes me, saying “ sorry for what I made this” then slowly the feeling of the hug is felt, better than that which my parents gave me, and it grows stronger follow by the feeling of hope. Then I say, Lord, I apologize and I’m sorry for being selfish
