1 Do you rulers indeed speak justly?
Do you judge people with equity?
2 No, in your heart you devise injustice,
and your hands mete out violence on the earth.…..Continue Reading

  1. At times, we all have people that oppose us in different degrees. David certainly had his share of enemies and he always brings them before God to deal with them. And we can do the same as well. We should not wish the same punishment on them as David does as we should also love our enemies and do good to those who come against us. But God is a God of righteousness and justice and so we can trust Him for the ways He would deal with our enemies, because often times our enemies are people opposed to Him too. But no one can ever come against God successfully and at times they will receive the punishment that their wickedness deserves. And far better for them to be caught in their devices and uprooted by them as opposed to them being destroyed. He does know better how to deal with our enemies too. So they are best left in His hands.

  2. 9 You are my strength, I watch for you;
    you, God, are my fortress,
    10 my God on whom I can rely.
    We spend a great deal of time being angry, frustrated, and disppointed in people and for what? We ourselves probably disappoint people all the time. We are an imperfect people that tend toward worrying about ourselves before others. We need to learn to be more like Jesus and not lose sleep over how we are treated but rather focus on how we are treating others and let God take care of the rest. We can not live in the peace God intends for us if we are constantly angry, looking for things to be “fair”, or comparing ourselves to others. God is the only thing we can truly depend on; people will disappoint, bad things will happen, but God is ever present and always provides for His people!

  3. Our God is a God of justice; we can be sure of that when we see people doing wicked things that hurt the righteous. So do not fret about it for God says ” It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near…” so we can sing of God’s strength in the morning and sing of God’s love ;for he is our fortress, our refuge in times of trouble, our God on whom we can rely.
