Why do you boast all day long,

  1. It is so easy to focus on the evil of the wicked and all the wrong that they do. It is important to recognize that God sees it too and will deal with them according to His ways, and they may receive temporary benefits, but in the end will reap destruction for themselves. But our focus should be on God and the richness of our relationship with Him and the blessings that flow form that whether those blessings are spiritual, physical or eternal. It should allow us to have compassion on the world and seek to offer them the hope of salvation on Christ. It is true that it is the fool that says there is no God, that we are right to believe in Him and trust Him. But we should work to enlighten the world to their ignorance and show the benefits of following God in the way we live.

  2. Psalm 52 The behavior of the wicked includes practicing deceit, plotting destruction, loving evil, and speaking falsehoods. God sees the evil of the wicked and he will put an end to it abruptly. I must be careful not to practice any of this type of behavior. The righteous are like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God, trusting in God’s love forever, praising God in the presence of his faithful people, and hoping in his name. I must be diligent to practice this type of behavior, continually trusting, praising, and hoping in God.
