Psalms 46 & 47
Psalm 46-47
Ps. 46 does not promise that ‘God is on our side’…rather it promises that God is ‘with us’. And contrary to what we often think or are told, this means not ‘arming’ ourselves but ‘disarming’ ourselves.
Rest in the Lord, the King of the earth…our assurance and protector.
Psalms 46 & 47
Our Holy God reigns on high upon His throne. There is no one greater than the God who created everything. He alone is in control. We should never fear for He is always there with us. He will work everything out for our good. Even when bad things are happening around us. For God is our refuge and strength a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1,2. What we need to do is come before Him in stillness and remember who He is that He has us in the palm of His hand. vs 10. We can get so caught up in our troubles that we are not remembering that He is right there with us. We should especially during these times sit back and listen to Him. He only knows. Sometimes He will only come to us in a still small voice. We have to be calm to hear it. 1 Kings 19:12. When God spoke to Elijah in a still small voice. May the Lord bless you all.
