  1. When we come before the Lord in complete humility knowing we are nothing without Him and put our complete trust in Him; He will help us through every trial that we have. Vs 1,2 He doesn`t say that we won`t have trials or people hating us because we belong to Him, but rather He will see us through. Not just hating us but wanting to destroy us. Remember that they are being lead by Satan whether they know it or not. 1 Peter 5:8 { Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion walketh about seeking whom he may devour.} Psalm 17: 12,13 {Like as a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places. Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down; deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword.} If we think that the Lord is warning us in some way; we need to heed that warning and not to go there or not do something. We have to be open to His leading. He will draw closer to those who draw closer to Him. That`s because we would be abiding in His Word and prayer. Psalm 16:8 {I have set the Lord always before me because He is always at my right hand. I shall not be moved.} Psalm 16:11 {Thou wilt shew me the path of life. In thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.} Keep looking up to Jesus and come before Him.

  2. There are great blessings inward and outward that come to us as we seek God and trust Him for our lives. What a privilege to trust His guidance, His protection and His love for us. Psalm 16:11 is a keeper. And yet that does not mean that life will always be easy or that people won’t come against us, but even in that we can turn to God and know that He hears and He will do better in dealing with our enemies than we could. I also do believe that it is legitimate for us to pray the kinds of things that David prays here, but leaving the execution of these things to God, all the while we are to love our enemies and do good to those who persecute and malign us.

  3. I have set the Lord always before me. Because he is at my right hand I will not be shaken. Glad I read this. Always before me ?? Great question

  4. ”Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.“
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

  5. Psalm 16-17 I will keep my eyes on the Lord, he is our refuge. Our rewards are not in this life they are after this life, but we will be blessed now by following the Lord and keeping him first. He will keep us protected from our enemies ,

  6. Keep me safe, my God, for in you I take refuge. You make my lot secure. I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. These words of comfort and truth are calming when difficulties arise in our lives. God is always with us, his love is steadfast, and we are secure in his presence.
