  1. What a great message this Psalm provides! How true it is that our striving outside of God’s direction and protection are just strivings and unless God is in the activities of our lives those activities are frivolous. So either we will learn to trust God or try harder and just spin our wheels. Even the children we have do not come about from just our own efforts or ideas, they are a heritage from God and our lives are blessed by them. What a great idea God had to establish family as the basis of society and give us the privilege to nurture and raise children. Children who come from us and share in our DNA, but then share in our lives and we prosper them as parents and then they prosper us when the time comes. What a great plan from a great God!
