Praise to answered prayers for the PMC ride ! Bike adjustments worked! Prayed for all with cancer, all the families of ones who passed from it and praised for all who survived and thrive now! Prayer and praised over the 200 mile ride and sang praise songs for the whole ride! Tears of amazement of our Jesus and what He does and did. Nothing better than spending two straight days with Jesus holding my seat and enjoying all His people. Thankful for the three bad crashes that I stopped to help at weren't injured badly and praying for one rider on day two that an ambulance took away after a fall I believe.
Answered prayer in that 3 yr old Nick was running about when my pedal partners arrived at a water stop. ❤️

WARS AND TERRORISM
Arizona Senator John McCain said he would offer a plan for a U.S. strategy in the war in Afghanistan as an amendment to the defense authorization bill in September.
The transfer of thousands of Syrian fighters and refugees from Lebanon's border region into rebel-held territory in Syria in exchange for Hezbollah prisoners has been put on hold.
Pray about America's strategies for ending the wars in Afghanistan and Syria.

North Korea has been engaged in "highly unusual and unprecedented levels" of submarine activity in the wake of its second ICBM launch in July, according to Pentagon officials.
The U.S. government slapped sanctions on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro in response to what Washington called a "sham" vote on a legislative "super body."
Pray about the motives of tyrants and dictators and for those who struggle to survive under them.

ISRAEL AND THE MIDDLE EAST
Breaking records, over 1,300 Jews visited the Temple Mount in Jerusalem for a day commemorating the destruction of the Jewish temples that once stood on the site.
The Palestinian Authority's 2017 budget for payments to inmates in Israeli prisons and so-called "families of martyrs" is equal to half of the foreign aid the Palestinians will receive this year.
Pray about the deterrents to a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.

The country's gross domestic product grew at an annualized pace of 2.6 percent in the second quarter in a healthy economic rebound, the Commerce Department reported.
America's largest companies are on pace to post two consecutive quarters of double-digit profit growth for the first time since 2011 helped along by stronger consumer spending.
Pray that the nation's economy will sustain a continued pattern of growth ahead.

Three bills created by the Utah legislature to combat opioid addictions and overdose deaths signed into law in March are beginning to create change in the state's opioid problem.
A 30-day comment period is underway for West Virginia's proposed state education plan establishing a new accountability system, academic standards and statewide assessments.
Pray for the lawmakers in America's states as they deal with social, educational and health issues.

I learned yesterday that pro choice folks have put our name on a list for harassment this week. They have called for a week of protest across the country. There may be picketers. There will likely be fake calls. And lots of negative reviews on google. As we pray today, let's entrust ourselves and our patients to the Lord. We will discuss further on Monday but be alert if you have the phone this weekend. God is greater than anything the enemy can cook up.

They have already sent in all documents and they were married three years ago by a JOP in Rhode Island. If immigration decides that they don't have enough proof that the marriage is real they will deport her back to the Dominican Republic. We don't believe that God would want this! Pray for the West Virginia, Ministry to the Appalachia people, mission trip, 7/28/17 - 8/6/17. Second meeting together with New Hope in Swansea, yesterday, 6/4/17. Next one 6/25/17. Praise to God for Chris's wound care report yesterday! The wound MD did a happy dance, the wound is showing signs of healing. Continue to pray. Still a long road, but we know God can shorten it. Chris's daughter is doing an amazing job with nursing, chauffeur and secretary duties ... to keep up with IV meds, appts and keep the times and days coordinated for all! Chris is doing even more amazing, continuing to rest in God's hands, through all of this! Moments come and go, "how long, Oh Lord", but God is faithful! Blood sugar readings are excellent. PTL!!! Please pray for my son, Wolf, who is trying to reduce his hours at work.The overnight solo security position he has is difficult to fill, and if he just flat-out refuses to work full-time (plus!) anymore, the company he is guarding will be affected. The hiring of a replacement is not in their hands, but in a security company's hands. He would be the one to train the replacement, and it's taking much longer than he'd hoped.

Chris's surgery 5/12/17, went well and was thorough, per the surgeon. A complication of IV meds going inter muscular, taken care of. They will put in a PICC line for going home w/meds. Pray for care at hospital, that it continues to be responsible and accurate. Pray for good and speedy healing from the inside tissues to the outside. Pray ALL infections will be eradicated from her body, old and or new! Pray for good care at home, in home services.

Please join me in praying for several requests. For Heather, a woman I met a couple of weeks ago at a Subway in Cranston. Her baby died of SIDS some years ago and she has struggled with hatred for God as a result. For Lise, my colleague who is caring for her elderly mother that is struggling with cancer. Lise said this morning that her 'view of God doesn't allow me to think that He would want this'. She has been at the hospital countless nights, without sleep. Then, to come to teach high school English and put on a happy face each day, she is running ragged. There are so many people around me hurting in different ways - please pray for me to show Christ's love and have an answer for the hope we have in Him!

"We are being asked if we would be considered "pre-adoptive" with little Kiwi (our current foster baby). Apparently her mother is not a candidate for reunification. We believe there is some mental illness, along with her addictions that is causing the state to consider it highly unlikely. Also, she has not named any family members or the father. So our decision, is do we want to be considered foster-to-adopt, or should we prepare for Kiwi to transfer to a family that is looking to adopt a baby.

I shared the testimony of God's beautiful work in my own marriage over the years, as my husband and I have pursued God individually and desired to be obedient to Him. That led straight to the gospel! She had already heard a separate miraculous testimony several months ago. Please pray for her, that the seed will take root and begin to grow.

Please pray for Vanessa. She is the new waitress at my work and I had worked with her a couple of years ago. She/'s only 19 and has kidney failure. She has already had four surgeries and is on medication currently while waiting for a transplant. Her doctor told her that she will die within 10 years without a kidney transplant. Please pray for the right kidney to come along. I told her that I was going to ask the people from my church to pray for her and she thinks you.

Please pray for Douglas' echocardiogram ( his past chemotherapy can damage the heart) would show a strong heart and check up at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute would reveal God's continued miracle of the healing He did for Douglas. Our appointment is on Tuesday 8am with forecast of a large snow storm for that day, so prayer for wisdom if we need to go the night before and safety in driving. Thank you❤️

Please pray for the FoY Teens this week. Let's just call this "High Drama Week"! This is par for the course in teen ministry, since teens are especially sensitive and thus very easily hurt and offended. When not dealt with, counseled, pastored and shepherded in a biblical way -- and with the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer -- "drama" can drive wedges between teens, carry over into school and other relationships, drag other teens into the conflict, and drive teens away from fellowship, where they become easy targets for the enemy. There are several areas of conflict this week, lots of hurt feelings, and precious teens in the line of fire. Please pray for the leaders, including teen leaders who know the Lord and have direct influence in these relationships. Thank you for praying!

Please pray for Sarah Laffey. As many of you know, she discontinued treatment for her stage for neuroblastoma after over a year of treatment and a major set-back. Her mom, Kelly, messaged me today to say that after 6 mos of no treatment, the neuroblastoma measurement (of some sort) has decreased from a 6 to a 4! Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, discernment for Sarah and her parents and, of course, a miracle cure!
