The Book of Romans (Part 12)

What is it that most motivates and inspires your Christian life? Is it God’s discipline and your reverent fear of that? Or is it God’s kindness and love? How will God judge those who reject His truth? And how will He judge those who say they have faith in Christ but whose lives do not reflect the obedience faith should produce?

The Book of Romans (Part 11)

Chuck Missler aptly stated, “The only barrier to truth is the assumption that you already have it.” Are you judgmental? How can you know? After clearly and boldly describing what rejection of God and His authority produces, Chapter 2 of the book of Romans begins with the Apostle Paul addressing the relationship between truth, judgment, hypocrisy and humility. Listen as Pastor Peter continues his series on Romans after we hear Janice Briggs share how God has given her hope after bringing her through a long, difficult season of grief.

How God Blesses Generosity

Today Jim McDonald joyfully shares his testimony of how God pursued him into medical school, and how he came to the realization that he wanted Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. Afterward, Spencer McCombe teaches on the many ways God blesses our generosity. The Bible is clear that God’s gifts to us are meant to be shared. Why then do we hold so tightly to what we have? And what happens when we give generously?

The Value of Our Testimonies

One of the changes we’re making at Living Hope Christian Church in 2018 is the public sharing of testimonies to God’s faithfulness, provision, and power. What is a testimony? What are some different types of testimonies?
How does God use our testimonies to encourage and challenge others? Listen today as Spencer McCombe teaches on the value of our testimonies, and Bob Petrucelli shares a testimony of his own about a broken relationship restored by God.

The Book of Romans (Part 10)

What should our response be to the hardened heart which either denies, defies, or disregards God and His Word? And how can we avoid sin ourselves when we find it necessary to address an issue? Listen in as Pastor Peter Atkin continues his series in Romans this morning, teaching on Romans 1:28-32: “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done…Though they know God’s righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.”
