  1. End times. You can get all wrapped up in trying to figure out bible prophecy. Tribulation period. Millennial reign. It’s good to study these things. But your life could be taken tonight. Just know the time we live in But a perfect example Jesus gives. Birth pains before actual birth. The verse that always stuck with me is. When this gospel is preached to all nations. Know the end is near. 50 years ago. How could this happen? Now. It has happened. We know we are in end times. And we wait one of the most awesome events the world has ever seen! JESUS IS COMING BACK!! Anything more exciting than that?

  2. The timing of Jesus’ return is something we have been talking about and trying to figure out obviously since before He left the first time! Horrible things have happened and continue to happen throughout our time here on earth and all could be said to be part of this time between His acension and second coming. I think it is most important to just be ready! Jesus tells His disciples and us to be ready at all times, not to spend all our time trying to figure out something we can’t but rather spend our time preparing. We know that horrible things will happen but also personally we will experience trials and opposition even from those we love, even family. We need to stand firm, we need to be in His word, we need to have solid foundation of faith on which we stand so when any of these things come our way we do not get thrown off God’s path for us. So it isn’t about when it will happen but rather are we ready?

  3. There aren’t many passages of Scripture that cause as much wondering and debate than the Olivet discourse. I am one who says it is ok for us to be watchful over the things happening in our world and to see the extent to which they line up with the Bible, but be careful not the be too predictive of what things mean in terms of timing. Our primary directions is to watch and be prepared. And I believe that that is more spiritually prepared than physically. We need to be prepared to share the gospel. We need to prepare our minds to be strengthened by the truth of who God is and what He provides. We need to be prepared to be persecuted, in whatever form that takes. What a test that will be to see if our lives are really about God and His purposes as opposed to the things we own or can do. It will be no more important to be in the Word, in the Spirt, in prayer and to be connected to each other as believers.

  4. These great buildings that Jesus spoke about happened in 70 A.D. All the stones were thrown down and are still there as evidence that this happened. Jesus in His answer to the disciples of when these things will happen speaks in broad terms. He goes through a large time span of history telling how it will be before He comes and when He returns. Much of what Christ warns about are things that happened through the last 2,000 years and are still happening now in our present time. Such things as wars, rumors of wars. earthquakes, famines, persecution, many claiming to be the Christ, and false prophets. However, there would be an increase in these things. We are getting nearer to the great tribulation. During the great tribulation there will more affliction than ever has been. v19. The abomination that will be set up by the false prophet will be set up in the temple. The image of the anti-Christ will be given the power to speak, and people are made to worship it. Don`t we have A,I, now? Rev, 13 and Daniel. God is in control and knows all. However, with all this said, Jesus tells us all to be ready for no one knows when He will come. Only the Father knows. He tells us to watch and pray and preach the gospel. For Christ must first be preached to all nations and tongues. Then He will come. God bless.

  5. Jesus tells us to be aware of what is going on in the world, be watchful, be prepared and remember his words. You must be on your guard…the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. False messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. So be on your guard; I have told you everything ahead of time. When you see these things happening, you know that it is near, right at the door. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come. If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping. What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’ ”

  6. Mark 13

Always be prepared. Never let our guard down. We should remain aware of the times we are in, but our charge is to promote the gospel and seek the lost.

  7. ”And the gospel must first be preached to all the nations.“
    ‭‭Mark‬ ‭13‬:‭10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
I was thinking of this verse last night at the missions night, when they asked “why is the 10/40 window important?” Then Jian shared about hearing about a God she had never heard of. There are still nations that have not heard and where Satan is actively trying to prevent the gospel.
