  1. Arguably the greatest promise in all scripture. Going to prepare a place for you and I will come back for you and bring you to that place. God fulfills every promise he has made so this is going to happen!! Always remember!! So many religions in the world. Buddhism. Muslim. L R Hubbard. Promising empty notions. Christianity is the way to God. The only way !! What great questions here. By Thomas then Philip. Show us The Father. Jesus was the perfect image of God to know Jesus is to know God. The search for God and Gods truth ends in Jesus Christ. The spirit of truth. Imagine God was carried around in an ark and worship in temples now he abides in mankind. The law was weak. But the spirit is strong. Giving us the power to trust and obey. Pleasing our Lord

  2. “I am th e way, the truth and the life. The only way to the Father is through me”
God is our Creator and creator of everything. He placed the stars in the sky and cares enough to know every hair on my head.
Jesus came to make a way and show us that way. He became a humble servant and the Lamb that was slain to pay a debt I never could.
The Holy Spirit is our ever present help to keep us on the path, to help teach us to obey and give us the power and strength to continue the Son’s work here on earth.
Three amazing parts of the same awesome God that I am overwhelmed and humbled to know, loves me, and wants a relationship with me, and has so clearly revealed the way. All I need to do is believe and then follow to maximize the life He has for me!

  3. The helper is the spirit of truth. This comes straight from the Father and Son. He loves us so much He knew we would need this to live in this world. He left this for every believer. He said the helper, the Holy Spirit, who will teach us everything and help you remember all of what I said.
Jesus says I leave you my peace. Also he tells us. Call on me if there is anything you need. We should always call on the Holy Spirit before reading the words of God to truely understand.

  4. God gives us such reassurances in His Holy book {Bible}, that once we have come to Him in faith, He will give us a place to live. We will one day be with Him in Heaven and will be given a special area or room that is for ourselves. He assures us that when we get saved, He will send the Holy Spirit to indwell us and teach and guide us. He also makes it very clear that He is the way, the truth, and the life. and that no one can come to the Father, but through Jesus. We are only saved by His grace and mercy upon us. For we are all sinners, and we cannot save ourselves. We cannot earn our own salvation, which scripture is also very clear about. It is only through Jesus because of His shed blood that we even have hope. For Jesus was the perfect sacrifice being without sin. And what does God require from us? But to come to Him in childlike faith, truly believing what He says and putting our complete trust in Him alone. When we are saved, we will want to know Him better and follow Him. Seek Him and Serve Him. God bless.

  5. Such assurances given to the apostles (and us) before He dies.
    – I will rise again
    – don’t be troubled
    – going to prepare a place for us
-Jesus is the way the truth and the life
    – Jesus will send the Holy Spirit
    – Jesus leaves peace with them, His peace

I have this memorized from a kids summer VBS:
John 14:27 My peace I leave with you. My peace I give unto you. Not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid.

  6. Knowing what the apostles would go through in response to the upcoming events in Jesus’ life, He let’s them know they don’t have to be troubled because they can trust Him and the Father for being in control of things. But they not only can be confident in what will happen presently but also in the place that Jesus will provide for them in the life hereafter. This is certainly an assurance for us as well, and the only thing better than Jesus promising them a heavenly home and Him returning to bring them there, is the fact that they know the way to get there because Jesus is the way. What a bold assertion this is, that shows that Jesus understood exactly who He was and what He came to accomplish and He would want everyone to come to understand that. And if we come to understand that He is the way, the truth and the life, it only makes sense that we would do what He has done and love Him for all He is and all he has done for us. And as we follow Him and have Him with us, it only makes sense that we have peace in our lives, especially when Jesus promises to give us His peace. Now all this is something to really rest in!!!

  7. “I will not say much more to you, for the prince of this world is coming. He has no hold over me, but he comes so that the world may learn that I love the Father and do exactly what my Father has commanded me.” Let us remember this – Satan has no power over us. Continue to do exactly what the Lord commands, trust that God is with us and we have the Holy Spirit to help us. And Jesus gives us peace, not of the world, but the real, true peace of God. So don’t be troubled or afraid. God holds us in the palm of his hand.
