Jesus washes the feet of His disciples. Overwhelming to think that the Son of man would humble himself to do such a thing to show us the importance of service and the sacrifice He would make to truly cleanse us from our sins. He also washes the feet of Judas who will turn around and immediately betray Him. Jesus did this with full knowledge of what Judas’ plan was. He comes to cleanse us ALL from our sin and unrighteousness. For the people who reject Him, for the people who love Him yet still sin, for the people who will even betray Him! Makes you really think about how often we judge people and feel like we don’t need to help someone because of their choices or behavior and yet our example is Jesus who humbly washed the feet of the man that would send Him to be crucified.
