  1. The master divides the money to us according to what our abilities are he doesn’t give us too much much that we can’t handle. Its very simple just be the person that God has made you to be. not be like the last person mentioned in this parable who only thought of himself but to think of others. the only way we can fail is to be lazy or not be concerned what our master thinks. We have opportunities all around us to help others in need. Would we say to someone who is hurting. Go I wish you well. or invest. Time resources or money

  2. More reminders that we are simply stewards of resources God blesses us with, Our resources are more than money and possesions but also our time, talents, and abilities. We must look at how often we are using all of these things to bless others and advance His kingdom here on earth. Are we putting others first, remembering that whatever we do for His people we do for Him. Being a servant is an honor and privilege, it keeps us humble and reminds us that it isn’t about us but rather always about the Shepherd that cares for us sheep!

  3. Day 11 we are reminded to do for others with what we have been blessed with. To be wise with our resources so we are able to do for those in need.

  4. Lent Day 11
Come and share my happiness with me. We are to take care of what we are given . It reminds me of 2 Pastors I was under. The 1st pastor had some followers. We sat under him for almost 10 years and stayed true to God’s word. He stopped working and always delegated things only he should have done. It never grew. I believe now it never grew because he did not take care of his flock. It ended on a bad note and he lost his church.
Now we are under our Pastor Peter who constantly prays on what he does and takes care of us all. Our church grows because he carries out God’s wishes and commands. Always in truths that are in the bible. We are a a wonderful body of Christ within his teaching and have witnessed many miracles in my 10 yrs. This is just my example of the three servants.
It’s is too magnificent to picture all sheep on his right and goats on his left. All the people of the world gathered before him. Jesus on his throne says people on his rights that God has blessing that awaits you and God’s kingdom is yours. Imagine how terrifying to be on the left knowing you will never make it to Heaven. He tells them the reasons.

  5. I wonder how the king decided how much he should entrust each servant with. I suppose it didn’t really matter, but only that each used what he was given in a worthy manner.
Last Wednesday I started praying for an opportunity to share the gospel (or an open door). I was actually nervous to even pray it and made excuses in my mind, “I’ll be at work.” “It wouldn’t be appropriate.” Then I corrected myself and thought “pray anyway.” Well I had two opportunities…very random, low stress opportunities! One my boss basically opened the door for me, and the other was a message from an acquaintance on FB! I was faithful with each opportunity, now I will pray for the “seed” to grow….and for more opportunities.
