  1. To think that God does not lose one bird out of the air without him knowing them, and how much more valuable are we than that? So valuable God sent his only Son to die for us. So in life, we never have to fear difficult trials. They could never shake God‘s love or pull his spirit from within us. Jesus speaks of different family members having separation from each other , over Christmas, joining with family to look around the table and see all different levels of belief, but how important it is for us to stand on solid ground and let others see the peace and joy of God. I was able to witness to one family member yesterday full of anxiety, that is so yearning for the peace of God.

  2. Thank God that we as believers do not need to fear being thrown into hell, but we should still be more concerned about what God thinks of us and what He could do to us than what man thinks of us or what man can do. Therefore we should be more than willing to declare boldly our connection to Jesus. Because He knows everything about us, the good, the bad and the ugly and He still loves us and cares deeply for us. And as we are speaking about Him, we can be confident that He will supply the words. And life is much more than the things we possess and greed and the desire for more is a trap. We are to seek God and His kingdom and let Him decide what He then adds to us and be content and not compare ourselves to others when He does. And we shouldn’t be surprised if our faith in Jesus separates us from people. We shouldn’t seek it or want it, but it will be how some react to our faith in Him. And we should be careful not to make snap judgements about why things happen to people, especially on the national or world stage. We need to make sure we are right with God instead of presuming God brings bad things on others because they are not right with God. And the two hardest pills for the Jews to swallow was Jesus doing things on the Sabbath and Him making Himself equal with God. In both cases Jesus points to the kind of things He is doing that make what He is doing, when He is doing it and who He is all make sense. The proof is in the pudding….

  3. This is a comment of great significance that I stuck on my refrigerator so I wouldn’t forget it. “God’s opinion is the only one that matters.” -Pastor Peter
