  1. The victories of David are chronicled here and the sign that God’s hand is with him is evident. David is having more success than anyone before him or after him. He is also wise in the way he handles victory and the plunder that comes from it. He is also wise in structuring his government, having strong and capable leaders in charge of the various aspect of Jewish society.

  2. David is certainly showing to be a successful ruler and it is obvious God is with him. He is handling things appropriately and the way God would intend a king to lead.

  3. David is successful in battle, he administers justice and judgment among his people, and he dedicates the wealth he accrues to the Lord.
