2 Kings 3 (NIV)
Moab Revolts
1 Joram son of Ahab became king of Israel in Samaria in the eighteenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned twelve years. 2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, but not as his father and mother had done. He got rid of the sacred stone of Baal that his father had made.……Continue Reading

God’s provision for the Israelites despite their current state of affairs. Jehoshaphat recognized God’s power and their need for Him and in turn God answered them. God met their immediated need for water in an unusual way but I love that they needed to trust and obey by digging the ditches. So often we pray and wait and think our job is done but God wants us to be willing participants in His plan….He doesn’t need us but He wants us. The water is there and the victory is theirs as a result of this obedience, very sad that the king of Moab chose to sacrifice his own son to a pagan god rather than recognizing his own need for the one true God!

What an incredible Wednesday night bible study this week. Digging into the immeasurable unconditional love of God. For each of us. There is nothing on this earth or in this life that compares
I guess I feel everyone’s pain…made a comment and got booted….even when I was logged in…but God shows up in a big way for Israel. I just love when Elisha says it is easy for God to bring water in the desert. What is hard for us, isn’t for Him. Too bad this and their victory did not lead to further fidelity to Him.. At least Joram knew that he needed Jehoshaphat to join him…I, in part, wonder why he did….
That I may grasp a little more today. How wide his deep. How long. How high the love of Jesus Christ is for me and you. It never ends. An everlasting love. Tap into that. Your heart will burst with peace and joy. FOREVER!!!

2Kings 3
Psalm 31; 2 Kings 3; Habakkuk 1-3
“Even if the fig tree does not blossom, And there is no fruit on the vines, If the yield of the olive fails, And the fields produce no food, Even if the flock disappears from the fold, And there are no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will triumph in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength, And He has made my feet like deer’s feet, And has me walk on my high places. For the choir director, on my stringed instruments.”
Habakkuk 3:17-19 NASB2020
I Found this passage interesting 3:15 . but now bring me harpist while the harpist was playing. The hand of the Lord came on Elisha .
Elisha doesn’t acknowledge Jehoram, but for the sake of Jehoshaphat king is Judah, he proceeds in inquiring of the Lord.
”And Elisha said, “As the Lord of hosts lives, before whom I stand, surely were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, I would not look at you, nor see you. But now bring me a musician.” Then it happened, when the musician played, that the hand of the Lord came upon him.“
II Kings 3:14-15 NKJV
