Not just the structure itself but the furnishings are also made with incredible detail and care. That doesn’t surprise me with God because it is what is on the inside that matters so much to God. Are our hearts and our minds fixed and focused on Him! We definitely should be aware of the exterior condition of our temples and strive to keep them in a good state but hopefully we never forget that our hearts must be set to God’s design as well!
As we see described all the elements of what was made for the temple, it is amazing to see what was needed and thereby what God intended as to how the Israelites would engage with Him. The priests and Levites would have so much to do to fulfill the tasks of worship and sacrifices and keeping things clean and functioning. Making them, in a way, was the easy part….
