  1. As beautiful as the temple was, it should definitely be able to be seen today. What a shame that Judah and Israel turn from God and he allows Babylon to take over and destroy the temple. Can’t imagine!!

  2. Such beautiful and intricate detail and attention paid to every part of the temple not just the temple itself. I agree with Mark that it is a shame we can’t still see it today.

  3. All the objects that Huram-Abi made for King Solomon for the temple of the Lord were of polished bronze. Also showing he was following Gods instructions. He never loses sight of that. Huramabi followed all of King Solomons instructions until complete. d. The Bronze was even too heavy to weigh. Solomon also commanded that all furnishings of the temple be used for the Bread of the Presence be made of Gold. Even the main doorway and inner doors to the HOLY OF Holies covered with Gold. All I can picture is when anyone would look at this they would have to almost cover their eyes if entering the Temple it would be blinding with such riches. Its nothing you could enter with sin. Our church is also considered Gods Temple. Do we take such pride in keeping it sacred and clean for God? We are Temples for the Holy Spirit as well. Is there the same thought when we enter Gods house. . Now I am thinking that during the week is when I should be led by the Spirit with wisdom and knowledge to be in the word with understanding and excitement. .

    1. It is interesting in the church age, we as believers are the only things that are called holy. No earthly location is.

  4. All these furnishings impressed on me all the activity that would be happening in the temple. Each thing had a purpose and was part of what would be required for the priests to accomplish. So much was involved in the various sacrifices that would be brought and the priests would remain pretty busy. There would be a lot of effort and skill in performing the sacrifices as well.
