1 Peter 1 Thank you Lord for opening my eyes To your word and allowing Me to Learn more about The truth of your word and all that you did for me and anyone who Puts their Faith in you . I don’t know how I could make it in this world apart from having faith in you because apart from you this world is hopeless.

Always amazed. This is Peter’s writings. The same Peter who was a fisherman. Unschooled. Always spoke prematurely. Denied the lord 3 times and his words are that of a scholar. The power of the Holy Spirit.!! Wisdom from above. Though you have not seen him you love him, and even you do not see him now you believe in him, and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy. Hallelujah!!
Jesus came to provide a way to salvation, a living hope of something far greater than the things of this world. So much was done for us to provide this salvation and therfore it should lead us to live better lives, righteous in His sight. Trails will come, our faith tested, we shall feel pressure like that of the refining of gold to become the people He desires for us to be. Thank you God for all you have done and continue to do in my life and give me the strength to endure the trials annd the peace to know You are with me through it all!
We can have joy throughout every season of our lives because we have an inheritance kept in heaven for us that can never be taken away. Our trials prove the genuineness of our faith, which is invaluable, worth more than anything this world has to offer. We can have abundant, inexpressible joy in knowing that the end result of this genuine faith is the salvation of our souls. So be alert, be sober minded, and think intentionally about how we are to behave knowing that the power to be holy comes from God. This world has no power over us, our faith and hope is in God, not in anything that the world offers. For this world cannot fill us with anything that satisfies. When we strive for its riches, it only leads to shame, emptiness, guilt, hopelessness and exhaustion. We don’t want that, the world can have it, we have something so much better!
“He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you who through Him believe in God, who raised Him from the dead and gave Him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”
I Peter 1:20-21 NKJV
Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
