  1. A great deal in this chapter on how we should treat others. How we speak and what message we share. Positive words and sharing of God’s truth but being sensitive to how we do it.
I loved all the insight given on being a good neighbor. Knowing when to spend time with others and yet not abuse their hospitality and the idea of giving to others generously but with proper motivation. Not just to be seen doing it but rather from a true place of sacrificial giving.
Right down to our relationships at home and not being a “quarrelsome wife” we need to remember the importance of how we treat each other.

  2. Wise and kind words are emphasized here and being mindful of the situations we are. We should consider what a situation calls for and the position and needs of others that exist rather than just thinking of our own needs and wants. It’s an orientation that is becoming less and less popular in the world today as people become more and more enamored with their own opinion and look for any opportunity to share it, whether it is appropriate or not.
