Numbers 7 (NIV)
Offerings at the Dedication of the Tabernacle

Numbers 7
Numbers 7.
The leaders of the tribes bring what appears to be the same offering in dedicating the tabernacle. It was all very generous and hopefully there was no competition in whose offering was the best. It was all to be to the glory of God. How exciting it must have been though to put the tabernacle into use and recognize that occurrence with these offerings. And how amazing for Moses to have God speak to Him as He approached Him.
😆could have started at vs. 84 and just gotten the cliff notes of these identical offerings.
”Now when Moses went into the tabernacle of meeting to speak with Him, he heard the voice of One speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim; thus He spoke to him.“
Numbers 7:89 NKJV
Love that Moses hears the voice of God above the mercy seat.
Although they were all the same, God shows the value in each offering by taking the time to list each one over the twelves days. God recognizes each gift and giver with no mention of more or less significance. When we give with gratitude and the right heart God is pleased regardless of what the gift.
