  1. Clearly our giving is important to God. Even though every family’s offering was the same they took the time to list each one.

  2. It must of been quite a scene for each tribe to bring their gifts to the tabernacle and have them be recognized in such a way. It seems there must have been a suggested offering or did Judah just set the standard then everyone else just followed. The gifts were also sacrificial in what they made available to God and the priests.

  3. Each of the tribes brings identical offerings to the Lord in the tabernacle. I am assuming that God instructed specifically what the offerings were to be from each tribe for the dedication of the altar, offerings, sacrifices, etc. It must have been done appropriately as God speaks directly to Moses from the mercy seat when all is completed. I took a peak at Numbers 8 to see what He said!

  4. 89When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from between the two cherubim above the atonement cover on the ark of the covenant law. In this way the Lord spoke to him.
