The separation of good and evil at the end of the world. To be separated by angels and judged by Jesus. No joke.!! Those who have received Gods favor and those who receive judgement!! No surprise the parables of men looking for the most precious of gifts on earth. The treasure in the field. When the man found it. He sold everything he had to purchase it.!!! Jesus calms the storm. Sleeping in the back of the boat.!!! The rest of them flipping out there going to die. !! Jesus is well aware he is living on his father’s time clock and he is not going anywhere. Until he has accomplished all that needs to be done. And the apostles also on Gods clock. So until God is done with us face the storms head on they to shall pass. When God is done he will take us home
Advent Day 15
Advent Day 15
The kingdom of God is about grace and more about what He does to grow things than what we do. It is also about multiplication and God making much of little. But there are enemies of God that are also enemies of His work and of His people. And evil people will exist in the midst of God’s people at times. We therefore must be discerning about who we listen to and who we let influence us. But God will take care of their judgement in the end. Oh, and because God’s kingdom is so good and valuable, we should be ready to sacrifice anything for it. How passionately we should pursue the things of this great God we have. And just in case we wondered about Jesus’ credentials to call us to such sacrifice (which really is no sacrifice, giving up things of the flesh and this world), He calms the storm and drives out a legion of demons. The calming of the storm really is another class of miracle that causes the apostles who have seen many miracles say, “Wait. He can do this too?” And it is amazing that demons know exactly who He is and have to do whatever He says.
