O God, save me by your name,
and vindicate me by your might.
2 O God, hear my prayer;
give ear to the words of my mouth.
3 For strangers have risen against me;
ruthless men seek my life;

4 Behold, God is my helper;
the Lord is the upholder of my life.
So good to know that God has our back when evil people come against us. It is also a source of strength and peace to know He is the one we live before and whose vindication we seek and not the opinions of others or the value they place on us or things in this world. We have an objective standard that we can always turn to to know what is right and what is important.
