  1. The value of being righteous and wise is found here, both to oneself and others. Proverbs 29:2 is so true. Righteousness exalts a nation and everyone is benefited by it, especially when that righteousness is coupled with love and compassion. Proverbs 29:6 is good too. A righteous person doesn’t need to look over their back to see when they might get caught or discovered. We have seen Proverbs 29:8 in our day, more of part A than part B. Proverbs 29:11 is important to understand and apply. It is far better to keep ourselves under control and watch what we say, than to react in anger and just say what comes on our mind. And Proverbs 29:25 shows the importance of trusting God and not man..may everyone be benefitted when we do that and our souls are more content when God is the reference point for what we do and say.
